amber only cumbernauld they are still trying to shed the title of worst town in the uk now theyve stuck up a statue that looks like a naked woman being attacked by a giant seagull lolSo finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0

Thanks Amber
Am feeling a little better today, viewed a place today which was nice but just not really suitable.
Have been looking at Defensa Felina, and have fallen in love with Ricky. Will definitely be enquiring about him as soon as I have somewhere, which should be this week, latest early next week. Knowing my luck he will be gone, though!
What an odd statue that is....hmm. I'm baffled by why a naked woman makes the town better....:o0 -
Just looked at Ricky and you won't believe what happened to the poor little mite - somebody kicked him and broke his hip :mad::mad: The good news is that he will be operated on later and should make a good recovery.0

Awww, bless!
I emailed yesterday enquiring about volunteering and if they still had him, but no reply as of yet. It was at around 6pm, though.
Supposed to be last day at the hotel today, leaving tomorrow at 11am. Haven't found anywhere to live yet though, phones are finally working but very very expensive to use as T-Mobile have !!!!!!ed up
Am off out to get a SIM card and phone around some places....Wish me luck!
(42 degrees expected here tomorrow....wow!)
What's everybody else up too? It's unusually quiet here...I hope it picks up after the Summer holidays!0 -

lol-good grief thats awful! whys it got 4 arms?! art my !!!!!0 -
Elle, look at the temp accommodation in Loquo.com. Lots of people rent out rooms for a week or two - you'll probably find some ads in English too. That'll give you breathing space to find something long-term.0

Thanks Amber
Found somewhere lovely but the woman isn't back until Monday, so we might just have to extend our hotel stay and find somewhere for a few weeks next week.
Although to be honest, we are just dancing to bad English music on the radio at the minute, and we are going to go get OH some sandals and wonder round the main town. Will take my camera this time!
I really want Ricky. I hope he is okay...I've got my fingers crossed all day.
Have a great day everyone0 -
Elly, hope your bite's a bit better? I haven't been able to upload pics of your fourth Sulkie as the cable for OH's phone seems to be knackered (probably been stood on) and I haven't figured out my grandma's camera which is what I'm borrowing for our holiday next week. I keep taking pics and it won't focus up close...but it'll happily do really nice outdoor shots? so dunno what that's about but need to sort it out! I'm going to post them when we get back as I'll try to get some business cards done if that's OK with you? But anyway I've got your address now
thanks hon! xx
Tomorrow we're going away to near Harrogate which is where OH's mum lives, we're staying in a cottage for a week and are going to go round Bolton Abbey and the Forbidden Corner
- http://www.theforbiddencorner.co.uk/ourHistory.html - oH has been making wooden shields appropriate to each child's forearm length, he's designed a heraldic version of each one's 'totem' animal - Reuben wanted a monkey holding a knife - well he actually wanted two monkeys having a knife fight but it was a bit too complicated for OH to do. Georgie's is so little! There are some dark scary bits at the Forbidden Corner so this year the kids are having (foam!) swords and shields just in case. Anyway will be able to take pics while we're away so you'll see them on FB
Hope everyone's ok? Mambury, have you managed to get some sleep yet?
Hugs to all, might get on later but if not hope you all have a great week xx xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -

Hugs to all
