Hi Baby
Are you doing them on the comp board? I have done 1 or 2 over the year. Have you had many successes?;)8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -

Hi hun
Yeh I am doing everything I fancy on there but I may step it up a notch in 2011 to get my 11k hehe
I have only been doing it since beginning of October but I have won quite a bit, around £750 worth of stuff including what is in my signature, books etc. I am really enjoying it0 -
Evening all - hope everyone's well
Just wanted to seek your advice on a charity event i'm doing. It's carol singing but with a stall in a shopping centre. we'll be singing but have mince pies/sweets etc to give away, balloons, collection tins, authorisation cards/ leaflets etc, backing music, tinsel, maybe silly hats...
I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas that we could use to draw in the 'crowds'? Any suggestions would be much appreciated - it's to raise money for shelter.
Cheers all xJust £10,852.28p to go...

Just had to look that up but i like how you're thinking! I'm not sure how it'd work for this as we've struggled to get about 10 people together, but will keep researching the flash mob and have a look at the t-mobile ad - thanks Dilli

:j Wow
I might try it if that's ok?
I am thinking about becoming self-employed doing whatever comes along. I have had a few interviews, the lastest one was last week that was a complete washout. The interviewer took a text message in the middle of it and texted back, asked because I lived in a certain area was I after pin money, didn't know the hourly pay/yearly salary, wasn't sure about holidays, said that the other people in the office were in their 20's and did that bother me..... and the best of it was he/she kept on about they wanted someone professional and super organised !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:just to answer the phone for 4 hours a day !!!!!!. I am 42 and came away feeling very old although the interviewer was in their late 40's.
I have gone for jobs at supermarkets, dentists, estate agents, call centre, NHS. about 35 of them in the last 3 months. I have had 22 years in customer services, then went into education for the last 4, now budget cuts have hit I have had to leave.
I want to work part-time because of DD but I think I will look at re-opening an Ebay shop and get that going asap.
Sorry for long post jus had to say something to someone.:o8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -
How much room will you be having? Can you get a santa for the kiddies? What about a name a xmas specific teddy to win it? Colouring competition for kiddies, again xmas specific and the best gets a small prize?0
