wisteria pod

I've got what looks like seed pods on my wisteria. Is it worth growing from seed?

  • I'll be interested in hearing peoples opinions of this too because we had one last year and I intended taking it off and drying etc but missed the boat because I forget and the next time I thought about it it had vanished.
But this year we have three so would definately like to try.

They will grow but can take 15 to 20 years to develop into flowering plants. Most Wisteria you see on sale are grafted stock.

I've got these pods as well, I thought I was seeing things. I will plant them and see what happens.
