Hello Kitty Clip Watch Help Needed

I bought my daughter a Hello Kitty clip watch today. It is metal, in the shape of a Hello Kitty head and is attached to a hook which you use to fix it to a bag or belt loop. The problem is I cannot change the time on the watch after reading and re-reading the instructions many times. I cannot change the hours or the minutes and would appreciate any tips you may have. I don't think it is a battery problem, I think there may be a step or two missing from the instructions provided. Many thanks.

I'd guess the techie forum is one of the least likely places to find someone with direct experience of a Hello Kitty watch, but you never know...

Tell us how many buttons it has, and what the instructions say.

Generally it will be something like a press-and-hold on one of the buttons to get into settings mode, and then each subsequent press of that button will change mode from (e.g.) date to time setting. You change the actual values by pressing the other button(s).

There's a fairly fragmented 'answer' in this set of posts. Good luck!

(I've seen a 17-y-o female with a Hello Kitty tattoo. That will last longer than the brand itself!)
  • Thanks guys. I have had a look at those answers and will have another go after I've been for a lie down. That watch was doing my head in yesterday!

    Lol about the tattoo :)
