Shop Dummies

Please does anyone know where I might be able to get shop mannequins or dummies for free or very cheap.
I want to put on a full size Christmas nativity display/tableau for benefit of our local school children and local children in general.

Mannequins are very expensive and it is unlikley that you will get some one to give you one but you may be able to borrow one, you are more liley to get a loan one. Not sure where you could loan one from as I do not know your area could you possibly ask the local press?

How will a nativity display benefit children? (What I mean is how is it a selling point for the idea why would it encourage anyone to hive or lend you mannequins for it)?

Any clothes shops closing down near you or refurbishing? There may be some dummies being thrown out.
