Ideas for a low hedge please
Options
I have an open plan (or is supposed to be, many neighbours have put up walls or grown hedges) front garden. I'm at the end of a cul de sac and the kids over the road play football in the road.
I'd like to grow a hedge but not leylandii.
Any suggestions on what to grow please?

For a low hedge perhaps Lonicera nitida (dwarf honeysuckle). Here's a picture of it in action.

How about euonymus? It's a slow grower, but sturdy and bushy when it gets going. Have a look at this pic and more hedging here:

Potentilla is nice, flowers all summer too. Check varieties as height may be variable.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
