Noticed this offer on the CBK newsletter yesterday. You can get a .info domain plus website hosting for a whole year plus free SiteMaker software for only £1 at Namesco!

Not only that but you can also get £10 cashback so that's a profit of £9 :)

I wouldn't advise anyone to use CBK for their cashback with all the current issues there but luckily it's available elsewhere as well. Tracked within the hour for me on Fatcheese.

http://www.fatcheese.co.uk/merchant/?site=Namesco

It's also available on TCB but not on Quidco.

EDIT: The TCB link doesn't go to the actual offer page so not sure if you can do it on there. FC link takes you straight to the offer.

It does work from TCB. Follow the normal link to Namesco. Once there put http://promotions.names.co.uk/index_uk035b.html in your browser address bar to get to the offer page. It tracked for me.

i'm confused, i keep trying this and any way i do it (via fatcheese or tcb) it still tries to charge me for the domain name at 12.99 not a quid as mentioned above...

anyone got any pointers for me? i get to the offer page and it says it's a quid but regardless of me choosing my preferred .info name either via that page or the next page that shows the available domain suffixes it always comes up as 12.99

thanks for that, done and dusted!

slightly worried about the comment when i paid about there being something in there that was to be paid monthly and it would be taken out monthly but i've taken screen shots of things in case they do anything weird. it's probably to do with the sitemaker and i guess i can live with free being removed from my acct each month :p

oh it's worth noting the fee for making your information private on the WHOIS list is now just 2 quid. i really don't want random people knowing my home address and phone number and as i won't be selling from this site i have no legal obligation to provide an address so it's something to consider, well worth it in my mind!

When I did it a second time I removed the sitemaker software from my basket. Didn't realise you could do that before!

    PS. It's £1 + VAT so £1.17 in total.

wow! i just checked my tcb acct and it's tracking at 20quid! my suspicion is that my additional 2 quid order for the privacy thing has triggered the first time customer tenner a second time.

i don't expect to get twenty but i won't complain if i do!

Noticed that Nameco account gets set up for automatic annual card payment @19.99 so I changed annual renewal to manual payment and removed card details, thought worth a mention to save people possibly getting charged in 12 Months time. :)

Edited to show significance of taking Card auto renewal off account :

    Alert

"There are no automated credit/debit card renewals on this account."

hmmm i read their terms and it quite specifically says that if you don't make a payment service will be terminated immediately, also said that they send notice 4 weeks prior to renewal... guess i'll go find that manual thing myself... not sure what to trust now but i got stung with 1&1 before so i dont' want it to happen again, thanks for the heads up!
