quick question:(just asked in another thread but got no answer sorry)
if u have lived in a conucil house for 30yrs and u are entilted to max discount being 60%, will u only get £16k off the house price in wales, seems a bit low? people in our street say they only paid £39-£60k for thier council houses 5 yrs bk now worth £150k:rolleyes:

Yes - the discount is capped once you have reached the full discount years.
In my area it is £26K but could be £16 in Wales.
The person in your streat probably bought before the more recent changes to R2B were made and before rampant house price inflation.0
