  • I had a few in my lates 20's, by the time i was 30 it was a full dye job every 4 weeks, i swear the older i get the harder it is to look natural!!! Firmly in the 'high maintenence camp' now :)

I've no idea how grey I am now and I have no intention of finding out ;). I've been colouring/bleaching it since I was 14 and iI've no plans to stop yet.

I know exactly how grey I am from the regrowth which is stopped in it's tracks every 3 weeks. That grey-haired woman is not the person I feel like I am at the moment and I don't suit grey in clothes at all, grey just drains me so can't imagine grey hair is going to be a good ideal!

OP just pull them out and don't listen to the "pull one out and get 2" for now. Why spend on tinting the whole head for an odd few?

I'm 28 and have to dye my hair every 4-6 weeks to cover greys :( but I am a very dark brown so any grey's show up very obviously! It is a vanity thing, I don't think other people really notice unless they actually look for them in my hair IYKWIM! But I hate them with a passion!!!

Does it make you feel low, im pretty grey with dark hair and im 33. I feel its so hard to hide the silver coming through. I stress alot but try to eat healthy so it must be genes, feel like doing a britney and wearing a smart quality wig .

I was 14 when I started to go grey. By the time I was 21 my whole fringe had gone. I dyed it black for years being as my hair was almost black previously. I then had it highlighted - my hair is not blonde yes you can see the regrowth but after 3-4 weeks instead of 4-10 days. Everyone said it wouldnt suit me now they prefer it, some people havent seen me any different and some even think I have gone to my natural colour. Blonde is the only way I am afraid. Just start off with a few highlights x
