NPB Buyer's details completely changed.

Hi,

Someone won one of my items last Sunday through a BIN. They haven't paid, and have continued to buy about 10-15 low value items in the last week. My BIN was for £18inc.

I just requested their contact details from eBay to get the phone number, and their name and address is COMPLETELY different to that in the email supplied with the BIN notification.

I've just reported this to eBay in the following quote. The names are changed so as not to point out the real seller.

Look at this;

Message: Dear eBay,

Something very strange is going on with a user who won my item #1234567890 . Their contact details have COMPLETELY changed.

They haven't paid or replied, and I am about to raise a NPB. So I pulled off their eBay contact details to give them a ring before doing the NPB.

Look at this.. These are the contact details from my auction that they won, #1234567890 ;

And these, are the contact details I've just pulled from eBay to get the telephone number;

Something is very iffy here... They have continued to buy ALOT of low value items in the previous week. This to be honest, has annoyed me.

I like to think of myself as reasonable and patient with people so pulled their contact details to see if all was ok.

And then I find out the above. That is very suspect. I am going to change all of my passwords shortly.

Sincerely,

XYZ

It that dodgy?

    Looks very iffy. I reckon they probably got contacted by another seller in your situation so realised they should change their contact details. Will no doubt become another Not A Regsitered User pretty soon.
