reverse phone number search

please could someone please help me i have had few calls at my parents address from a number 0698301302 saying they have a parcel fro me now i wasnt born yesterday and this souns well dodgey to me im not going to call number back as dont know the source hence the charge i have tried some websites that claim to search the database for numbers but thay all charge does anyone know of a free site or even somewhere to call and find out this number, i dont want to pay for any services to find this out but its just really bugging me now.

If it's a mobile number there are no complete directories to search.

If it's a landline number the only way you can reverse search a UK number is with a hacked copy of UK-Info disc.

Are you sure the number is not 01698 301302? If it is then I think it is a debt collector who is trying to contact you, or get information about you.

You can often find out just by entering the number into a Google search - it'll often point you to that "Who Calls Me" site mentioned previously, which is actually quite helpful.

sorry for long time to reply yes it is infact 01698 i missed it when writing down on paper from 1471, and yes your correct it was a debt collector wanting to forward some mail to me thankyou for help..

01698 is the area code for Hamilton in Scotland if thats of any help to you.
