Evva 3KS locks

I've been recommended the Evva 3KS locks for my front door as they provide anti bumping, snaping etc.
But they are double the price of similar yale locks. Are they really worth the extra money? Also when filling out home insurance what type of lock do they come under (eg. 5 point mortice lock etc).

EvVA Eps is a restricted profile meaning that you cannot get extra keys without permission, you are better going for a decent euro cylinder with the same protection ie. the UAP+ lock at the budget end or CISA astral S, Avocet abs.0

I don't know about these particular locks but I have high quality bump resistant locks made by Schlage.
These locks have two sets of pins at 90 degrees to each other. The key blanks are carefully controlled and not available on the high street.
They can be supplied in a number of housings, Cylinder (2 types) Rim lock.
I have two of these locks fitted already and yesterday ordered two more cylinders "keyed alike" for £77 inc P & P.
As eXOBeX says when you move house take them with you.
You mention "(eg. 5 point mortice lock etc)"
I think you have joined up two types here.
5 point locking is like on a UPVC door where extra bolts/hooks come out of the door into the frame when you lock it.
A 5 lever mortice lock is the "old fashioned" (but good) type of lock operated with a long "L" shaped key.
I got my locks from:
http://www.safelocks.co.uk/
Their site is worth a look as it shows many types - inc Evva0 -
Coded locks mean you need ID to get a key cut.0
