  • Angie, what's the plan for monday, waiting to hear back from solicitor etc to see what their advice is??

    Yes If.

I emailed my solicitor who has been on holiday.

I emailed the CAB, but dont think they can help much now.

I emailed the mortgage co direct and phoned them. I have always been reluctant to deal with them direct. I have always been told they prefer to deal with the HA in cases of MR.

Well, do you know what. I dont trust anyone any more. I have been told so many things that have turned out to be false. I have had no one to turn to who really wanted us to get this mortgage rescue and pushed it for us. Just barrier after barrier. Just me on my own up against the 'system'.

I am thoroughly !!!!ed off with it all.

Sorry If :o , and also thank you for being here hun xxx

Don't apologise......it's best to get it all out lol x

You have done everything you can......and unfortunately your waiting on others, hopefully monday you can speak and get to the bottom of what's going on. I know I can't help but I can listen :A:A

  • I guess you have taken legal advice but I would stall for time & get proper advice by a solicitor that specialises in property matters.Sounds like this is a major decision.....it could all work out OK but I can see where your hesitation arises.

Not sure if this site is worth looking at but it is government funded & there is sections on debt issues & property matters.

...above all don`t sign just in the hope it will go away. Try & not worry tonight....you will feel better in the morning & the mist will begin to clear again.

    Thanks Angie x

My solicitor was away this week, so I have emailed her tonight with the latest development. In fact it was her colleague who suggested I look to the HA for confirmation of the Full and Final. But turns out they are being told by the Mortgage co that we need to return the shortfall sale forms. So its just a vicious circle.

We wont just sign the form.

In fact I have had a row with my hubby about this tonight, its causing so much stress for us.

Like you say, it could work out but I need to know the mortgage co are true to their word. Why on earth cant they give me confirmation of full and final settlement BEFORE we sign their forms????????

I just hope we can get this sorted on Monday.

And thank you Angie and If, I really need a friendly face tonight :A xxx
  • Has your local MP got involved at all Angie? ....at least he/she could highlight flaws in the system.

Stay strong Hun...you`ve come a long way & I admire your determination & fight...this is just another setback.

Yes IF....worrying doesn`t make any difference to your situation at all so I am pleased that you have `parked` the problem for a few days...well done. Email me when you are ready.....LOL on Sunday I shall probably be on the moors somewhere with one of the dogs . I need a really good long walk to clear my head of work issues.

Tbh ive had a gut full of setbacks. I know I have to carry on fighting even though I feel like giving up. But I have 2 kids and a husband that are depending on me. Thats my whole reason for doing this really. My MP was the last resort if needed and I will consider approaching them when I find out more on Monday.

Thanks to you and If for your support and being friends I could turn to tonight, whilst crying my eyes out in desperation and anger.

If , I know you are having a hard time too and I am always here for you hun, you know that xxx Cant wait to meet you in Nov xxx

Night night If & Angie...LOL we sound like the Waltons.:D:D

Angie please just try & rest....laying awake going over the `what ifs` will not change anything so just let it go for tonight & revisit your options tomorrow when your thoughts are clearer.

Maybe try & get out for some fresh air ....works wonders for lowering the stress levels .
