Im worried sick if we sign, they will go back on it and say we owe thousands of shortfall. Thats the problem with this process, no one single person I can ask for help
As soon as we sign we are liable, end of
If im honest If, I dont feel like fighting this anymore. I dont have the inner strength and I am feeling more and more low with it all. Everyone says, hang in there, you can do it, you can fight but right now I cant, ive had enough. Its now been over a year. Just when I thought the end was in sight, now this.
Awww Angie, I wish I could do something or say something to help!!
I know the fight has gone out of you.....but see what monday brings lol x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

I don`t know what the email was but if you had gone home a few minutes earlier then you would be none the wiser until Monday anyway. If you can`t change anything until Monday then put it away & try not to worry over it until then.....you will feel much better after a good weekend.
Hugs Hun
Angiexx....twin LOLxx
Thanks for your kind words :A
I didnt think I could feel so low again, but its been problem after problem with this scheme and i now seriously question why I have put us through this. Maybe we should have left our home for repossession. I thought this scheme was the answer to our prayers after going BR but I never knew it would turn out like this0 -
Is it worth sending Mr Lewis a PM see if he can help or refer on to someone for help? The MRS is a high profile scheme & it is very flawed ( I`m an ex mortgage advisor so I shall`nt say more) . Sorry if you have already done this in your journey Angie but is it worth a shot & see if he knows somewhere you can get a second opinion?
A cynic might say that a bit of publicity would`nt do any harm LOL.
As I say I don`t know the whole situation so please disregard this post if its a bit daft.0 -

Ive tried that Angie, he couldn't help us
Ive been on my own fighting for this for the last year. I thought we 'had it in the bag'. I was told the mortgage co were accepting the offer from the Housing Assoc and the councils repo prevention fund as a full and final settlement. BUT they are not willing to confirm this with me until we sign a shortfall sale form. Signing that makes us liable and I just CANT trust them until I have confirmation. If we sign it and they go back on what they have said it will make us liable for thousands of pounds of shortfall.0 -

Angie, what's the plan for monday, waiting to hear back from solicitor etc to see what their advice is??"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"

I guess you have taken legal advice but I would stall for time & get proper advice by a solicitor that specialises in property matters.Sounds like this is a major decision.....it could all work out OK but I can see where your hesitation arises.
Not sure if this site is worth looking at but it is government funded & there is sections on debt issues & property matters.

...above all don`t sign just in the hope it will go away. Try & not worry tonight....you will feel better in the morning & the mist will begin to clear again.0
