No redirect symbol when thread moved now?

Just wondering whether the thread redirect thing is appearing for everyone else?
Just posted on a couple of thread in discussion time when they vanished off to the arms.
Normally you can click where they were, and go to them, but that doesn't seem to be there for me today.
It's not a big deal, it just confused me.

When a BG or MSE team member moves a thread, then leaving a redirect is an option that can be selected rather than something that will always happen.
Presumably whoever moved the threads either:
(a) Decided a redirect wasn't necessary in that case.
(b) Click the wrong option in error.
