Good car boot this morning

Hi
I'm fairly new to car booting and did my first one in ages today - lovely weather which I think was responsible for the influx of buyers. Managed to sell lots of stuff mostly women's clothing, children's shoes and some books and dvd's. What does everyone else sell loads of? I'm thinking of doing this regulary (one a month) and would like to make sure I'm armed with the right stuff that sells well.

i did one last weekend. It was really busy and I managed to make £100!!
I don't do them very often.. just when I have a clear out. I tend to sell fairly cheaply towards the end of the morning and then any left over items are taken to a charity shop.
My most popular items were my books - fairly decent novels, table cloths and napkins (seemed to have accumulated a few of these!) and old make up, free sample sachets out of mags (foundation, face cream etc), old perfume, bath sets, brushes, potions and creams that I put into a box for people to rummage around in. Those free DVDs from the papers went well too and CDs. Ah.. also.. I had some lovely home made birthday/xmas cards that a friend had made for me.. these seemed to be really popular!

The best thing to do is go for variety, I think. Some weeks people might buy loads of clothes, another time there might be hardly anyone buying clothes but ornaments selling well, or whatever, so hedge your bets.0

Variety is the key.
Take lots of different items from different areas. Always going to be something to interest someone then!0
