So he is spitting his dummy out because you didnt do exactly what he thought you should do eh?
    in a nutshell, yes.
    Is your home unlivible?
Is it damp/dangerous/crawling with pests (apart from OH)? if not then it can wait and if he doesnt like it then he can get his hand in his own greedy pocket and help out.

it's not unliveable, nope. Needs a new bathroom as current one is a bit tatty, there's a couple of black patches on the ceiling in the bathroom and kitchen because ventilation is a bit poo and steam causes it in the winter. The house is kept very tidy although I'm a bit lax with the dusting :o He is very good at 'telling me' what needs doing (and remembering he's a quantity surveyor) but then never does any of it unless we have to argue constantly because he just can't be bothered. I have packs of laminate in the hall I bought 6 years ago because he said it was an 'amazing deal' etc etc and it's still sat there waiting to be put down in the hall. I've learnt though since then about him getting excited over stuff like that - he just never does anything after buying it.

Right, enough of him, I'm off out today so will see you anon!!! :D
