  • Barker and Lowe do not exist, it is a scare tactic, I received the same threats in email and in letters, not long after J D debt recoveries were dealing with the debt, they accept £5 a month for £1500 debt (after daily interest was added for 3 months).

I have a thread on here enquiring about Barker Lowe, I will try to find it.
  • I am also having problems with Wonga. I only joined the site last night and posted a rant about Wonga and there are some very judgemental people using this site and they made me feel awful. I did proceed to report their post with the abuse button and I also told them I had done this!

I got into the same trap as you Summer77, using paydayUK, Payday Express, Quick Quid and WONGA. And as yourself it has only been Quick Quid and WONGA that have caused me the stress. I also admit it was a stupid mistake to make but it also a mistake I have made and I am paying the price for it!

I have had my debt with Wonga for about 10 months now and CRS are dealing with the debt but more recently the debt was taken over by JB DR but CRS still contacted me saying I had missed payments. I have finally got the DAL to speak to them and it would appear that it is in fact CRS that are dealing with this but in the meantime they have managed to increase the balance by around £80!!!

This is what they have said:
