You get what you pay for. I checked these out and the wood is poor quality with a lot of noticeable signs of woodworm/filler! I hope the Chinese treated the wood properly before it was exported:eek:

These look nice but the reviews on the B&Q site are very mixed. Obviously these folk paid higher price though.

Well... mine is all up and yes it is quite cheap quality...would have been gutted if i did pay £70 BUT...you get what you pay for... at £23 it is still a bargain! It will do us for now

Well, bought the bench, just put it up and my 12 stone hubby has fallen through...trading standards here we come!!!
Could have been very nasty...looked lke something out of Daniel Craig's James Bond

Got mine; haven't put it up yet as it's for when I move in a few weeks, but I sat on the one that was set up outside the store and I thought it was perfectly acceptable quality. Not sure it would take kids constantly jumping about all over it but the seat took my weight fine, and I am not the skinniest woman in the world. Very pleased for £23
