    That is true - HR is very competitive - I'd suggest looking for a position as an administrator, get more experience and then in a year apply either within the company or with someone else

    Hi loubie_lou, I coach people on interview techniques and help them prepare cv's. At the moment I also do this free of charge for students. If you'd like some help pm me. I'd be happy to help.

    p.s. A friend is quite high up in the HR field so have asked her for some suggestions of where to apply to.

  • HR is competitive but what about trying it in a big public org. like the NHS or local council? Loads of opportunities there

    Thanks all. I know it will be hard, but i do have alittle experiance anyway of hr and i know i'll have to start at the bottom that is why i'm applying for hr admin/assistant posts.

    I've had my CV put forward for a few posts already. Just have to have a killer CV now!
