code for radio/stereo ford mondeo
have an 03 plate ford mondeo that had to have work done this week including a new battery as it had been off the road for 4 months.
when we got the car we had to buy the manual online as it came with nothing other than the legal stuff and service history.
we have hunted high and low and cannot find, or believe we ever had, the code for the radio.
i dont know how to find out the serial no of the stereo as its fixed [part of the car design].
i called car giant who we got it from 2 years ago but they have no record and suggested i call ford who said take to a main dealer and pay £15 to get it unlocked.
so in true money saving style im asking if anyone here can help before we part with £15.

Pull the unit out of the dash and give us the M****** number off of the sticker. http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=39 or http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=35 depending which model.
I know you don't come over here very often ( if ever) but I thought you might have found the correct thread

Depends which version (from my links) you have got. If it is the older version you don't actually need the keys and can put wire coathanger / nails / drillbits into the holes. An alternative is to pop into Halfords or Ford and smile, flutter your eyelashes and ask them to pop the unit out for you
