Should I buy an acer laprop battery from ebay?

Hi all,

I need a battery for my acer aspire 5601 (5600 series) and I see them on ebay for around £30. Just wondering are these batteries generally ok and if not the other cheapest place to buy them.

I've bought quite a few and not had any problems other than maybe needing some minor fettling to fit. Certainly life wise they've lasted as long as the originals (before they needed replacing) and usually had greater capacity.

Gosh I didn't realise that most lappys last longer than 2 batteries

Just check the seller feedback and go for it if the feedback is positive with more rating.

I bought a high capacity battery for my Acer off Ebay. It was fine and very cheap.

Feedback is fallible but the best indication you'll get. Big numbers with close to 100% are a good guide, especially if they specialise in batteries.

have a look at 7dayshop.com if they have it , it will be postage free ,first class service.

I would personally avoid buying any chinese copies of the original batteries, as these have been known to explode, leak and have a very short life-span.
