Crafting for Halloween

Hi!
Christmas was quite lucrative for me financially, selling snowman soup and reindeer food etc. Does anyone make money out of Halloween? If so how. I am trying to pay offsome debts and wondered if i could do it by being creative.
Thank you!

    You could do:

Goblin dust (Reiendeer food) with a bit of green in?? And come up with a poem about it keeping the goblins away for the boys, and Fairy dust for the girls???

Sock Monsters (Sock monkeys but a bit scary) Lots of socks in £1 shops in illuminous colours with skulls and things on, add extra googly eyes and horns maybe??

Witches Broth same as Snowman soup but with green marshmallows? (to make the marshmallows green add a bit of green use food coloring to dye marshmallows green put toothpicks in the marshmallows in a small bowl add a litle water and a drop or two of coloring use clean paintbrush and paint on the color stir with a spoon just color the marshmallows quickly and set on cookie rack to dry)

Can't think of anything else at the moment can't wait to see what other people do too

i am not making money but for fun for my kids i am making a Wanda the Wicked Witch Sock Monkey who will bring witches broth and play tricks on the kids over halloween.
  • I had a stall at a fete just before halloween last year and had witches and devils blood (red and green pop) witches and devils brains (red and green jelly with spider sweets hanging over the side of the cup) and SpiderWebs (clear candy floss in a bag with a spider sweet)

All went really well but only the spiderwebs can really be made and sold to the scale of the snowman soup.

Great if having a party though

  • One of my best friend's used to have Hallowe'en party's when we were kids and she always made green cupcakes (amongst other things.) They always went down well! She'd ice spiderwebs on them and ghosts and things :)

i did that last year and used mashmallow with pink goo inside for mummy cupcakes. i did spider web ones and sea monster ones. anothers (whatever i read at the time!!!), i did a buffet of witches fingers, pumpkin puke, witches broom sticks, monster toes. but nothing you can make money out of unless you charge entry to a party!!! :rotfl:
