Anyone used Pink Elephant Parking at Heathrow?

Has anyone used this company and if so, are they any good? Is transfer to terminal as quick as they say? Are there any vouchers around for them?

Not a clue, but I used Pink Meet & Greet at Gatwick, and would thoroughly recommend them - excellent service, extremely courteous staff, and cheap rates. They apparently do cover Heathrow as well, but you need to contact them for a quote: http://www.pink-meetandgreet.co.uk/

I have used Pink Elephant whiel travelling on business. They are located by the perimeter fence of the airport close to the main route to T1,2 and 3. The service is good and efficient. You can get rates through the BAA website.

I used to use Pink Elephant when I was travelling on business. They are just like any other on-airport parking company and just as expensive. Nothing remarkabley good or bad about them to be honest. If you do want to park then I think Purple Parking is cheaper than Pink Elephant and I used them quite happily a few times.

How long are you staying? I saw the light a few years back and decided to do one-way car rental for trips to Heathrow. Now for anything more than 4 days I simply get a car dropped off at home the night before I travel and simply drop it off at the airport then get the transfer bus. Quick, cheap and easy! Same coming home where the car I pickup from the airport gets collected from my home.

We are travelling out on Thursday 28 SEpt and arriving back on Monday 2 Oct. Only problem is flight is not due in until 8pm so not sure if car hire places are still open then? Had never considered one way car hire but will look into these costs as well. Thanks.
  • pink elephant is about 10 mins from T1,2,3 and 15 from T4

Pink Elephant is better than Purple Parking as shuttle runs more often. Look on BAA website - also cheaper to book online and if you collect BAA worldpoints you can redeem vouchers against parking (BAA worldpoints are collected on every purchase you make at the BAA airports, including parking). As I recall Purple parking was cheaper but it is very close to Terminal 4 so a long way to 1, 2, and 3.

Many people I know have used Purple Parking and have always been happy with them, but advised to allow a little more transfer time rush hours. I am ha ppy with Pink Elephant but am giving Purple Parking a go in October as it worked out much cheaper using a code which I shall pass on if you private email me.

And of course you can use tesco vouchers (4 times the value) for purple parking, although just realised you fly in 9 days time so maybe to late
  • I've used Pink Elephant once and Purple more times than I care to remember....
I would recommend Pink Elephant everytime. When you've got off your flight and have called and are waiting for your shuttle I always notice their shuttle buses must out number the Purple ones by at least 3-1!

The staff never seem interested and the last couple of times I've been left to try and squeeze my car out of a space that the driver who parked it must have exited out of the sunroof...
