You should be able to use a debit card - I validated mine with a Solo card.

Well done! Just in case you get stuck again though, if you ring your card provider, they should be able to tell you the expiry date. Hope you sell loads!

I tried that and they refused-said all they could do was send out a new card-idiots-lol

Sold one already Now I just have to hope it doesn't cost too much to send (it's a hardback) and of course I can't get the money till October 1st but every little helps.
