Digital Camera Battery Life.

Yes, I have "Googled" this, but cant find an answer........Will a Digital Camera use more battery taking High Res/Higher compaction(ie Superfine(Canon) than using a lower res? All other things being equal, of course.?Thanks

    Yes - it may reduce the battery life by anything up to a couple of seconds or so as it has to write more data to memory.

    So in practice it shouldn't make any difference. The screen and flash are what use most power and they don't alter when you change resolution.
