Not too sure why you decided to throw in an insult into a perfectly nice post.. .but when you live 3 hours + away from home and don't usually go home.. then it becomes quite hard!!!!! Not the same for everyone.
that was not intended as an insult mate  not sure why you took it as one but nevermind!
  • :) sorry didn't mean you insulted me.. but it was a kind of smarmy comment ;) "if you were smart..." type thing :) Don't worry.. lets make tea not war =)

In my experience, Pringles and Coke are the best things to buy in bulk from Makro! Last time I went they had 3l (2l+50% free) bottles of Coke, 6 for about £7 inc VAT... lasted ages too! And Pringles? Who doesn't need them in bulk?

But most stuff can just be bought from supermarkets for less / easier... Get a job in a supermarket and make use of the discount!
  • Iceland is quite cheap I find for things like drinks and chocs. Usually things are £1 :D

Not if you pick up £50 worth of stuff that you didn't intend to buy and don't actually need ... or enough Pringles to last all term and then see them eaten within a week ...

As with all shopping, it needs self-discipline and a good knowledge of prices elsewhere to make it work in your favour!

Of course the BEST thing to do is let someone else go to CostCo, and ask them to pick up milk for you at the same time! That way you don't get tempted ...
