I purchased a item ( only cost 1p) on Ebay.
The postage was £2.....thing was he did not accept paypal, so I sent cash via recorderded delivery. The item never arrived, so i contacted ebay & he said he received the cash and had sent the item.................he was prepared to refund the bid price but not the postage, untill he had confirmation from the post office...seems fair so far. I`ve waited a couple of weeks & emailed him to ask if had any reply from the PO.................he never replied to my email. I read his recent feedback which was poor..................so i decided to leave a neutral feedback to avoid a neg for neg situation.
He only goes and negs me................the cheek of it.

Unfortunately by sending cash you lose any ebay buyer protection so you are reliant on the seller to repay whatever he chooses to. Even if you had sent a cheque ebay protection would not have covered you as they have a minimum claim of £15 and even if they do refund you only get the item cost back (in your case1p) and none of the post and packing.
As usual I would strongly advise that people pay only with paypal backed by a credit card..otherwise you are at the mercy of the seller.
