I think this is a good idea for reasons already mentioned, it would enable me to thank people even if I decided not to enter and it might mean that we can remove the ban on commenting on posts. When we had the comps ending post you could easily comment on any competition without being accused of bumping, it made for an even friendlier forum because you could really easily interact with other people. Because some people use the board sorted in a certain way we all have to adhere to the no bumping rule, which only applies to some users and for me it means that when I'd like to make a little comment about something I can't and I feel disconnected - I just think it's a shame. So if this 'I've entered' button does start maybe we could look at the bumping rules again. Thanks for letting me air my opinion :-)

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT IDEA!! Will you be able to find a 'count' of how many "I've Entered" buttons you've pressed? The benefits of the subscribing to posts are it shows on the main forum list which you've already entered and you can see a count of how many you've entered in total (sometimes I like to know roughly how many comps i enter a week)
