Best destination for shopping trip to France

We have a voucher for Brittany ferries that we are going to use as part-payment towards a short trip across the Channel mid-November to do some early Christmas shopping. We can either go to Caen, St Malo or Cherbourg. We will have two full days for shopping so can afford to travel out of the immediate port area but wondered if anyone has a view on which are offers the best shopping. We like the big French stores such as Carrefour, Decathlon (sports) and the like and don't particularly want the restricted choice that is availabe in some shops which gear themselves up for the English market specifically.
Thanks.
Thanks.
