I know many of you use this survey site, so just just wondered if anyone knows if they are a member of any professional or accredited body?
I was due a cheque from them back in April and so far have not recieved anything and they do not seem to want to respond to my (numerous) emails, and so I was hoping to complain to some sort of market research ombudsman, before trying county court.

I use them aswell and am having the same problem - they were just ignoring my emails but I've finally got a reply saying the relevant department is looking into it!
According to their website they go by the Market Research Society Code of Conduct (not sure if this covers payments though). There's also some undecipherable 'professional body' sort of stamp at the bottom of the page aswell, anyone know what that is?Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0 -
I got my cheque from them on time when I ordered it but their quality control thing is a joke. I used to live in a flatshare with 5 other people, then moved to a flatshare with 2 others. Because my answer therefore changed about how many people lived in my house, they decided, AT THE END of several surveys, not to pay me. SNEAKY.0

I agree about New Vista's quality control checks - they're a real nuisance.
However, having received several £50 cheques from them through the years, can state that I have never had any problems with them. They are one of the better paying survey sites, have done a survey today for them worth £4, and nearly at payout amount again.
I would definitely email again info@newvistalive.com.
It might also be worth contacting them on Twitter or Facebook, might achieve the desired results! Possibly a new thread posted in their forums might get their attention.
Good luck0 -
Thanks for all the replies, oddly enough I've never had a problem with their screening questions.
I have also started a thread on their forums and it seems they are the only one not to respond.
So can anyone enlighten me as to if they are a member of some sort of standards agency?0 -
Well, I've finally got my cheque 2 months after I should have done. TBH I'm up to 48 points again already so as soon as i get 50 I'm outta there...Excuse any mis-spelt replies, there's probably a cat sat on the keyboard0
