Problem adding/removing software... Windows XP

On start up I get a message saying "SmartBridge Alerts: MotiveSB.exe - Entry Point not Found. Procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL".

When I attempt to access Add/Remove Software through the Control Panel, I get another message saying "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close".

I don't know if these are related.

First encountered the problem when trying to install Adobe Premiere Elements.

Any ideas?

boot into safemode, and try a system restore:

Managed to sort the SmartBridge problem. It's the other one now.

I suspect it may be a virus: program is rundll32.exe.mdmp, it seems to be in the temp files on the C drive.
