Someone on twitter using mse links to promote there referal

Options
There's somebody on twitter borrowing mse thread titles and links as content on their account that seems to have been set up just to promote their Utility Warehouse referral link.

Not sure if this is the right forum and not sure if anyone can do anything about it as they're not really stealing content but it still seems a bit dodgy to me.

I noticed this too. If you type moneysavingexpert into Twitter search there are quite a few accounts posting batches of links to mse.

I asked about this on the Skimlinks thread. I could not work out if you read a post in the forum and use the box to tweet it then someone clicks from Twitter to mse, have they clicked an affiliate link on Twitter?

It is too complicated for me to understand but someone techie might unravel it for us.

they are using 'twitterfeed' to take an rss feed from the 'Budgeting & Bank Accounts' forum & then post it to twitter
i assume they are trying to use the MSE name to get themselves noticed
