My jewellery box bargains!!

I love ebay!! Just got a beautiful old 9 carat solid gold charm bracelet (without the charms) for £299. It weighs 31 grams. In perfect condition, I was lucky no-one else bid on it. Had it to a jewellers and it is solid gold and worth double. Have been after one for ages but the new ones are so expensive and tend to be hollow links so no weight to them. It was 40th birthday present from my folks (July 2009) so I have bided my time waiting for the right one. Christmas time I got £60 from my partners mother inlaw and got a 18 carat gold diamond eternity ring for my pinky. Took it to the jewellers to be resized, its has 5 perfect white diamonds and he valued it at over £200 couldn't believe I only paid £60 for it. Again I got it for the starting bid. Possibly someone thought it was too small for an eternity ring, but its beautifully petite as a pinky ring.
