Share certificate for not paid up shares

Hi,
I'm filling out a share certificate following a recent transfer of ordinary share between two parties for a small amenities company. The shares issued are not paid up i.e. they were issued without the current owners paying anything to the company. However on the current share certificate it states "...upon each Shares the sum of £1 has been paid".
Question is, should I be filling out the new certificate with £1 has been fpaid or should this really be left bank or filled £0 in the case where the shares are not paid up?
Any views appreciated.

The original share certificates should not have said "...upon each Shares the sum of £1 has been paid" if that was not the case.
The nominal value of the shares may be £1, but shares can be fully paid up, partly paid up or eevn unpaid as it appears in this instance.
Shareholders would become liable for the remaining unpaid amount of any shares in the event the company went into liquidation.
The share certificate should continue to state the nominal value."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
OK thanks, sorry just seeking final clarification
The original cert states
...
ONE share of £1 each........ and upon each of such Shares the sum of £1 has been paid.
So I should continue to use this and accept the implications of them not being paid up.
