Excel workbooks not seen

Help wanted please. I used to be able to see any excel workbooks that were open but minimized at the bottom of the screen. If I wanted to switch from one to another I just 'maximized' the appropriate workbook. Now, they are all open but I have to minimize one to open another and even if I have 5 or 6 workbooks open I only see 1 excel icon at the bottom of the screen. Anyone know how to correct this. Thanks

You have got all the workbooks maximised in the view.
re size each of the workbooks within excel before you close them.and they will open up the same size as you closed .
Hope this makes sense.

Goto Tools Options and under the view Tab, make sure the "windows in task bar" option is checked.
Incidentally, you shouldn't need to minimise each worksheet, they will al appear under the "window" menu and you can also use "ctrl & tab" keys to toggle through your open workbooks.
Hope that is of some help0 -
Gordon checking that tab did the trick. Thanks to both of you for your help
