I have a Orange 3G E1752 Dongle which I like to unlock.
I will be travelling abroad and would like to buy a local sim card in that country to use instead.
Is it easy or do these phone shops that unlock mobiles can unlock them too?

You can do it yourself for less than £4
If you want to get rid of the Orange branding, here is the original manufacturer's firmware: Mobile_Partner_UTPS11.302.09.00.03.zip
To replace the firmware, install the dongle by plugging it into your computer, download and un-zip Mobile Partner and run the application.0
