Surge Protectors

Hi,
I use a surge protector on all my PC equipment, but find I`m running out of sockets...I just wondered, if I connected an ordinary multiple gang extension lead to one of the protected sockets, would any equipment attached to that lead be protected as well , or am I looking at having to buy a new surge protector with more sockets, and also, would I be able to daisy chain them.
Many thanks :0)

It should be fine as I would have thought that most of your items won't actually be drawing much current. You can get surge protectors like this which could have a distribution panel plugged into them.
