I have just started at argos as a christmas temp, they seem to be a really good company to work for and seem to offer temp staff the same training and benefits to permanent staff, Really interesting but be aware they like to bombard you with DVD's in your induction :cool: any questions just ask

I handed in my form about 10 days ago but have heard nothing yet! Theres still the poster up in store so I'm assuming they're still recruiting? or have they just ignored my application??

My application form said 4 weeks then no chance but the pdf that glent links too says 2 weeks so there's still time, my interview went really well lots of questions but they are only giving out 4 or 8 hour contracts, they did say that 30+ was the norm that people went away with, but I'm still looking elsewhere.

I can't comment on other peoples' experiences, but I started off as a Christmas temp in 2006 and 4 years on I'm still here! Never looked back.
