Argos Christmas Temporary Staff Jobs

Hi all,

Just wanted to give you a heads up (I did a similar post last year but cannot find it lol), Argos stores are now starting to hand out and accept Christmas Temp application forms, or you can print one off the net and hand it in to the store you wish to apply to.

I can't comment on other peoples' experiences, but I started off as a Christmas temp in 2006 and 4 years on I'm still here! Never looked back.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for this post. Just found out that my boy's application has been successful - he starts in a week or so. Well chuffed, it'll fit in with his college course nicely

Hi there, went for an interview last week, and start with my induction in an hour, the store i am at only had 6 positions and over 250 applications so probably it is similar all over, I remember a time when stores were desperate for seasional staff but unfortunatly times have changed

My Local store keep telling me check online, however when I look on the website it tellls me there no Jobs in the whole of the northeast!

are you checking for other xmas temp jobs as well as argos

yes i tried, asda,boots,tesco and argos

no luck with asda or tesco ,(same story) Boots is a waste of time, I know i will be shot down , but they dont appear hire males in any of our local stores

as far argos I have found an alternative(newer?) pdf via this website and will return to my store promptly!

Glent, I can certainly share great empathy with you here. I have applied to all these major dept stores too - but always get knocked back after completing one those ACCURSED 70-odd-or-so personality questionnaires (what IDIOT brought them out??).

You say that one store is not hiring males? That is disgraceful! Now I know why this store knock me back every year in the twinkiling of an eye!!

That application form is a luxury compared to the one they hand out in store, one page was all I was given not the two show in that pdf, they certainly don't want much info especially with my hand writing. :think:
Some thing must have worked as I've an interview tomorrow afternoon.:beer:

I started there as a temp Christmas staff. Good company to work for. I do miss it in a way.

I handed my form in to my local Argos last Monday, but still haven't had any word back yet. Presumably, they've been bombarded. Same old story.
