Gas central heating works

i havent a clue about plumbing,iv had this quote.
Ferroli Domi-condense 24 HE boiler,4 radiators,
remove cold water tank and pipes from loft,
remove old hot water boiler and lead piping,
plus remove all other unused pipes.

£1800 all in,
im aware ferroli aint the best but iv only a small 2 up 2 down.
thanx for any advice.

    Just because you have a 2 up 2 down doesn't mean you have to accept a poor quality boiler. 24Kw will be fine if you only have showers, but if you have baths then go for a 28/30Kw.

    That price, even with a Ferroli seems way too cheap.

    That does sound cheap.
    There is a website called energy smart dot org.

    You can get good advice and prices there. I recommend the Vaillant Pro 24 and its £592.00 but then it will need other materials also, flue, clock etc.
    Get a full break down of materials, be sure to get the system inhibiter (I recommend Fernox F1 inhibitor). Don't get the cheapest boiler as you will regret it in the long run.
