Recaliming PPI with current bank

Sorry if this Q has already been answered but I couldn't see it on the huge discussion
I want to reclaim PPI from a loan that has been fully repaid - the ammount of PPI payed was around £2500.00 however, I still have my current account & credit card with the same Bank (HSBC). Can the Bank take any action against me, such as close my Credit Card account down, as I would be able to afford to pay the balance if they did?
I am happy for them to take the PPI refund of the current C Card balance
Hope someone can reassure me! Tx, Denise

Hi there
Lots of people have done the same on this site and the banks do not take any specific action. They have a charter about Treating Customers Fairly so I would not be concerned.
Good Luck:mad:0 -
Hi max nice to "read you"

Hi there
As as Maxdp says, they have to or should follow the lenders code and treat customers fairly, you can do a google search on this matter, this will explain all details to you.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
