in Credit cards
Hi,
I'd like some advice please from expert stoozers.
I applied for the PO account in April, online, approved with only £450 cr limit.
They sent me the docs, I returned them immediately asking for a £2000 cr limit. They sent me another agreement, I returned that too.
A month later I had a letter to say my time to reply was almost up, they hadn't yet received my signed agreement and I should return a new set of papers asap....which I did...again  They now had 3 sets of credit agreements.
They wrote to say I hadn't replied so they had cancelled the application.
I phoned them.
They said they'd got all 3 copies of the agreement and only the first one for £450 had expired as I had asked for a new amount.
I had the next letter saying that they would contact me soon. They never did.
I rang them last month Aug to find out why I hadnt heard. They said that time had run out.
I said I'd been accepted online with a £450 limit ......she said they dont set the amount until 'after' the agreement has been returned. I said time had run out while I was waiting for a reply from them.
She said she would ask her supervisor to ring me to explain what might have happened........no phone call, it's now Sept.
My previous application ran out cos of their incompetence.......is it worth re-applying? I only have a stooze of £1500 to move so I'm thinking that a transfer fee of £30 outweighs the interest made.
Questions...do I just give up and pay back the £1500 in Oct when my 0% ends?
Do I reapply to the PO?
Or is there a decent card out there that I can try instead? I cant afford to wait around for another 5mths for a PO decision and I dont want to make too many applications and affect my credit rating.
What would you advise?
