Claiming PPI on a debt management plan

Firstly, sorry if this has been covered.
Is it possible for me to make a claim for PPI now that I am on a DMP.
I had to go on the DMP last year but had to set it up quite quickly so didn't have time to put any claims in beforehand. I was wondering am I able to put claims in now even though my debt are on the DMP and if so are the creditors likely to be co-operative in the future with regards to the DMP?
One of my debts has been passed on to a third party, who are happy with the current arrangement. Another of the debts is currently being handed to a third party.
Any help or advise is very much appreciated.

Yes, to my knowledge. I mean I am on one and have just had two claims from Lloyds accepted.
When I told the CCCS (who run my plan for me), I was told that because both loans had been paid off in full that they would issue me with a cheque. I do not intend on going on holiday with the money or anything but it's good that they actually give me the money so that I can choose which accounts to pay off, as opposed to them just allocating it in such a way that I remain indebted to them for longer.
Good luck!0 -

Yes you can make a claim, and good luck with this. Just a word to the wise, if the loans or cc are still running your win will be taken off these, you may get the interest on these wins direct to you, but i would ask whoever is running your dmp what will happen with this. Fingers crossed for you x0 -
Sorry i forgot to say, if you win with loans make sure the total ppi amount is removed from the loan balances thereby reducing your debt to those companys.0

If you win a complaint and redress is paid, then it is paid to the debts that have been written off and not to the debts that remain. Any suprlus would then be used to clear current debts.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. More on how to reclaim below, follow the procedures, and you still pursue the ones who sold and set up the finance - even if your on a DMP.
