Sounds like the marketing team is on the ball, If they get business out of it then the comp will have been worth it.

I worked for a truck company who launched a radio comp, text lowest bid to win a van.
All entrants had a marketing call so we could discuss thier vehicle needs / company data.
We didnt actually have a single entrant interested in booking a test drive, and they were all honest enough to say they simply entered to win the van.

This may seem obvious, but it's probably a good idea to wait on this one until near the closing date when you'll have a better idea of the answer ? The longer between you entering and the comp ending time, the more the value can fluctuate ?

I'm glad about this as my call with them was really good and I had their info sent by post. I've bookmarked them and will use them next time we send a large amount over to my son.
I hope you enjoy you time in Spain.

I got an answerphone message too yesterday, i called back and they said it was to find out where i had seen the competition and did i have any currency needs - i dont even have a passport so thats a no lol.
Also received an email from them asking the same question.
Very pleasant though and wished me luck with the comp!

I've had calls to my home phone and spoken to my heavily pregnant wife several times. The guy is being quite persistent that he wants to speak to me. He sent email 'validating' my entry to the competition last week, then I got another one today asking if he could be of assistance moving funds abroad for me? And best of all - he wished me luck with the birth of our child!
