And get your pound back, but will have achieved nothing. Perhaps he should have used one of the many sites where this sort of auction is legal, or he could have set-up and promoted his own site (just like a UK couple did in order sell their house for £475k after the value dropped to £350k).
Personally, I'm surprised he got many 'bids'. These sort of 'sales' tend to suite high-value items the most.Never Knowingly Understood.
