I took on an 18 month contract with Virgin Mobile last September.
I had an E63 phone (not into gadgets so I do not care if it is considered good or not, it does me).
Last week it stopped charging which is very annoying indeed.
Got onto Virgin, they arranged for a swap/replacement within 24 hours.
Suffice to say the chap turned up with new phone and took the old phone all within said timescale.
Very pleased with that level of service.

Virgin have always been great to me too - they replaced a phone that I reported a fault about 6pm on Friday night the very next morning!0
