If you don't keep it, charge them for storage as well. Plus a handling and administration fee.

Just be mindful that if '3' are told by the customer (ie, the lady the phone should have gone to), they may block the 'lost' phone.

However, if the address details are correct but just the name that is wrong, it may be a screw up at ''3s' end, but that means they'll continue the error which means when the bill isn't paid (or more likeloy when the lady who owns the phone cancels her direct debit), then '3' may very well place a note on your credit file.

Next time you come to get credit you may get caught out, as although does not have the same name as you, the fact she is pertained to be at your address may throw up a flag with the likes of experian, etc.

To be honest, just call '3' again and ask them to arrange for a collection/or just put back into the post. If the phone is blocked then you'll not be able to sell it on ebay/cash converters as it will be flagged up as stolen/lost - do you really want that hassle just so that you can make a few bob on a phone thats not your anyway?.

I hasten to add that '3' have the WORST customer service in the world, ever.
Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.
