I am SUCH a lucky girl.....builders can start work on the bathroom ceiling on......wait for it.........4th January :eek::mad:

I have ever so politely told them where they can get off....and now have the date brought forward to 14th December to just replaster the ceiling with decroation in the new year. The builder chappie has now confirmed that he doesn;t think any more of the ceiling can fall down so I can use the bathroom if I wish.......too bad he didn;t say that 3 weeks ago when he visited :mad:

I am going to parcel tape up the sagging ceiling and have a nice hot bath this weekend...

Lovely and sunny here......the snow in my garden is virtually untouched apart form some fox tracks


:eek::eek:.........Ye gods.......a SNOW PLOUGH has just gone up the road......I didn;t think my council actually possessed one....hopefully I;m not hallucinating (I promise I haven't been on the absinthe) :rotfl::rotfl:

Beanie keeping our fingers and paws crossed down here that your boiler keep going......had a bit of a scare here last night untill I realised the funny smell wasn;t the boiler as thought but the remnants of "eau de souris :rotfl:

Today I really must finish this work as I have done nothing but procrastinate over the last few days

I think some more snow came down, but I'm not sure. Reminds me of the number system which went 1,2,3,4,some,many,lots,loads....

I think I'm at "lots" now and more inches just isn't going to make much difference until I get to "loads"...

That's true - there might be some round the side. It gets the sun a lot, and the boiler pipe discharges there.

Over the road is basically north-facing - their insulation must suck...
