Calling a UK Mobile phone in TURKEY?

Hi I am trying to contact a relative on his mobile in Iclemar Turkey. Can anybody give me the full code please. I have rang 00 90 then the mobile without any luck seems I need more numbers:think:

It is 0090 - but then you don't dial the first zero in your friends mobile phone number.

Make it as short a call as you can - your friend will get charged a lot to take an incoming call on a Uk mobile in Turkey.

Thanks for that, I tried a few times but keep getting the error message I have dialled an incorrect No?? Is there meant to be some area code or something else............. Just a thought

If it's a UK mobile number, just dial the number (assuming you're calling from the UK).

You only need to play with the prefix (044 for UK) if calling a UK phone from outside the UK.

Do you mean you're calling the mobile phone number just as usual (ie just like you would if you were calling it and your relative was in the UK) and you're still getting an error? Maybe your relative's phone isn't switched on, or hasn't automatically connected to a local Turkish network (usually when you switch your phone on when you land in Turkey, it searches for and connects with a Turkish network on roaming).
